Bird Feeding Programme

Caring for birds in parks and communities across Rajkot.

Why Bird Feeding

During summer and dry seasons, many birds struggle to find food and water in urban areas. Udaan Help runs bird feeding drives in parks, gardens, and community spaces across Rajkot. Volunteers set up feeding stations with grains, seeds, and clean water so sparrows, pigeons, and other local birds can survive harsh weather. This simple act of compassion protects urban wildlife and teaches children respect for all living creatures.

What We Do

Udaan Help organizes regular bird feeding camps in public parks and residential areas. Our volunteers distribute bird feed, install water bowls, and raise awareness about protecting birds during extreme heat. We work with schools and local communities to involve children in caring for birds. Seasonal drives are held during summer when birds need the most support, creating a culture of kindness toward urban wildlife.

A Volunteer Story

"Every summer we set up feeding stations in our local park. Seeing hundreds of birds gather safely and knowing we helped them survive the heat gives our whole team so much joy."
